Kathryn Kuhn is a Jazz Singer, Trained Actor and exceptional Burlesque Performer currently based in her hometown of Jax FL, after a decade working as a performer in New York City - using all she's cultivated in her 25 years performing professionally to create unique theater experiences for every audience.
She made a splash upon her return to the stage post-pandy, winning Best Local Actress in the 2023 Folio Weekly for her role of Emily Penrose in The Lifespan Of A Fact. She puts her BFA in Acting (from S.U.N.Y. Purchase) and Improv training from Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) to work! She's been off-broadway and also spent 5 yrs as an actor at the remarkably popular Jekyll and Hyde Club in Times Square but... if you're bed-ridden dahhling, you can find her on TV in roles on CBS, Investigation Discovery and in several films on Amazon.
She conquered the NYC nightlife scene as a resident performing artist for the revolutionary sober dance movements The Get Down as well as DayBreaker. Most likely to be recognized from her NYC dance days slaying regularly as a resident GoGo Dancer at the notorious House of Yes in Brooklyn, where she debuted her first burlesque acts and danced with some of the biggest names in music.
When it comes to singing, she spent a decade of her youth as a trained choir/opera singer.. then took a 16 year break from singing.. before returning to it just 3 years ago. Now existing as your neighborhood Old Hollywood Jazz Starlet, living up to the band name River City Songbird, singing a lot of jazz and vintage pop... a little blues/folk/rock. Currently workshopping her own music.
